1. all of the time, energy, and care you put into the car is gone in the end. i used to handwash the car in 10 degree weather because i didn't want the auto car wash bristles to touch the paint. waxing in jan/feb was a challenge too. call me crazy but this was THE car i wanted for 10 years. 2. it was a fairly busy intersection and NOT ONE person stopped to help or be a witness! unbelievable. there were cars all over the place! there was a guy pumping gas and i'm sure he saw the whole thing. i immediately jumped out of the car, pointed to the light which was still green on the avenue i was traveling on. but he didn't want to get involved and just got in the car and drove away. i just spoke with the insurance company. one ray of hope i do have is that since i got hit toward the rear (after the passenger door), my story seems more plausible. he stated that it would have been more ambiguous if it was a head on collision. i'll keep you updated...
